FAQS
You do not need “leader” in your job title to join.
Aligned Authority is for women in corporate STEM who already carry responsibility, influence outcomes or are relied upon by others. You may be managing a team, leading projects, working as a senior specialist or preparing for your next move.
What matters is that you recognise the gap between what you are capable of and how you are currently working, being seen or progressing. You may feel overlooked, over-relied upon, stuck in the same role or concerned that greater responsibility will demand even more of you.
This is not a promise of an instant promotion or a workplace without challenges. It is an opportunity to change how you understand your situation, how you lead within it and the decisions you make next.
Previous participants have reported feeling calmer and more focused, experiencing less anxiety, setting stronger boundaries and communicating more effectively. They have built greater trust with managers, strengthened their leadership presence and gained clarity about career decisions and new opportunities.
Your outcomes will be personal to you, but the intention is practical, visible change: a stronger voice, clearer boundaries, greater strategic influence and a more sustainable way of working.
Aligned Authority does not assume that every workplace problem can be solved by changing the woman.
We look honestly at both sides: the personal patterns that are within your influence and the organisational dynamics that are not. You will learn to recognise what you can change, navigate workplace relationships more strategically, communicate your needs and boundaries more clearly, and decide what you are no longer willing to carry.
For some women, this means leading differently in their existing role. For others, it creates the clarity and confidence to pursue progression, reshape their role or begin planning an intentional move.
It is a blended leadership transformation, not a webinar series or a self-paced course that leaves you alone with more information to consume.
Across nine weeks, you receive weekly small-group coaching, five private 1:1 coaching sessions with Karen and access to a structured digital pathway based on the proprietary UPLIFT™ Framework. The group sessions create perspective, connection and shared learning, while your private sessions allow us to focus on your particular workplace dynamics, ambitions and priorities.
You will receive a certificate of completion after finishing the programme modules. However, the real value lies in applying the work to your leadership, career and life.
You will need time for the weekly group session, your five private coaching sessions and some guided reflection and application between sessions.
The programme is designed for women in demanding roles, so you will not be expected to complete hours of additional study or keep up with an artificially intensive schedule. The digital pathway provides structure, but it is there to support your progress rather than become another item on an already overwhelming to-do list.
Much of the real work happens through applying what you are learning to the meetings, decisions, boundaries and conversations already taking place in your working week.
The investment in the nine-week Aligned Authority programme is £2,500. This includes weekly small-group coaching, five private 1:1 coaching sessions with Karen and access to the complete UPLIFT™ digital pathway.
If your organisation has a professional development, leadership or coaching budget, you may be able to request employer funding. A programme outline and supporting information can be provided for that conversation.
If you are funding your own place and would like to discuss whether the programme is right for you before making a decision, you are welcome to arrange a confidential conversation with Karen. Payment plans are available, so just ask.
